wedding videography FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What are the basic services we can book?

I offer different packages and several add‑ons, which you can find in detail in the Packages menu. I am flexible and happy to adjust the coverage and price to fit your plans and budget. You can send me an email, fill out the contact form or we can have a quick phone or video call – whatever is more convenient for you. Foto - Video bundle also available - check this.

When is the best time to request / book?

My bookings work on a first come, first served basis. I receive many enquiries throughout the year and summer weekends are often booked 1–2 years in advance, so if you already have a fixed date it is worth reaching out as soon as possible. Dates are pencilled in in order of enquiry, but the date is only secured when the contract is signed and the deposit is paid.

Do we have to pay a deposit?

Yes, we require a €150 deposit for most bookings. However, this may be waived for last-minute bookings or certain video + photo packages. I'm happy to discuss your specific situation.

Can we book less than 8 hours?

Yes, 4‑ and 6‑hour coverage is also possible. The 4‑hour package is not available on Saturdays from May to September. If you are planning a weekday or off‑season wedding, feel free to contact me and I can offer you discounted packages.

Do you travel abroad?

Yes, I travel throughout Europe for weddings. I've filmed weddings in Ireland, Austria, Portugal, England, France, Italy, and more. I love discovering new places and meeting couples from different cultures. Contact me to discuss international wedding opportunities.

Do you charge travel and accommodation costs?

Travel and accommodation costs may apply for distant weddings. We'll discuss all details in advance. Often, these costs are included in the package price.

What costs can we expect for a wedding film?

Every wedding is different, but to give you an idea: my 8‑hour package is 1,790 EUR (2025 price list). For an exact quote tailored to your plans, just send me a few details about your day.

When do we have to pay the invoice?

Once your film is finished, I will send you an invoice for the remaining amount. The deposit you paid at booking will of course be deducted from the final price.

When and how will we receive the film(s)?

The trailer is usually ready within 1–3 days after the wedding and I send it to you as soon as it is finished. The main wedding film is normally delivered within 2–5 weeks.
As soon as the films are ready, the wedding film is uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted link, which you can easily share with family and friends. A blog post on my website can also be created – either public or password‑protected, depending on your preference. All files are additionally uploaded to secure online storage (Google Drive or similar), where you can download them in different resolutions – 4K by default, with smaller sizes available if needed.

Is it possible to get the raw footage?

By default, no. You can already choose from many add‑ons (full ceremony, speeches, long version, etc.), which cover almost everything couples usually miss in the edit. At a typical wedding, 3–4 hours of raw material is recorded and around 30% of it is discarded. To organise the remaining footage into a watchable state takes about two full days of work. I use cinema line cameras, so the raw files need to be selected, stabilised and colour‑corrected – it is quite a lot of work compared to the value raw clips usually give.

Can we meet in advance?

Of course. In most cases we meet via online video call, but I am always happy to get to know you in advance and answer all your questions without any obligation.

Do you only film weddings?

No. I love filming not only weddings, but also christenings, family celebrations, portrait and couple / engagement sessions. I also create reference videos and social media content for small businesses, as well as reports, presentation films or mood videos for larger companies and corporate events. Just ask and tell me what you have in mind.
