An einem sonnigen Samstag in Wien wurde die kleine Amalia in der Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church getauft. So winzig – und doch schaffte sie es, so viele Herzen zu vereinen. Die Zeremonie war intim und feierlich zugleich, getragen von Liebe, Tradition und zarten Gesten.

Im Anschluss wurde das Fest bei einem gemütlichen Mittagessen fortgesetzt. Viele Verwandte und Freunde waren dabei – es wurde gelacht, erzählt, umarmt. Jeder Moment schien besonders – die Gesichter, das Licht, das leise Gemurmel, das plötzliche Lachen. All das habe ich versucht, in meinem Film einzufangen.

Das Video zeigt mehr als nur eine Taufe: Es ist ein kleines Familienporträt, ein leiser, filmischer Blick auf einen Tag voller Emotionen.

On a sunny Saturday in Vienna, little Amalia was baptized in the peaceful atmosphere of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. So tiny – yet already able to bring so many hearts together. The ceremony was both intimate and ceremonial, filled with love, tradition, gentle gestures, and emotional glances.

Afterwards, the celebration continued over a warm lunch. Many relatives and friends were present – there was laughter, storytelling, hugs, and countless small, beautiful moments. I tried to capture the light, the faces, the hands, the quiet, and the joy, all wrapped in a cinematic frame.

This film is more than a record of a baptism – it’s a tender family portrait, a quiet, filmic glimpse into a day full of meaning.
